When I first arrived in Australia I was six years old; I didn’t speak the language and I didn’t fit in at schools – I looked different, dressed differently and ate ‘strange’ food; olives and pate were not popular back them.
 
After many months of struggling and being bullied and beaten up I came up with a plan to make friends; I knew that to survive my enemies needed to see me in a different light.
