When I was at school, I loved sport. I played every sport possible, rugby, cricket, cross country, athletics, all of it. I was named Sportsman of the Year at St Josephs Nudgee College, I played for Queensland in grade 11 and 12 and in 1997 I represented Australia in the Australian School Boys Rugby Team. The downside of this amazing sports career at such a young age is I received an OP 21.

Straight after school I was accepted into the Queensland Reds rugby college. Everything was going really well until years of injuries took their toll, and unfortunately I had to retire when I was only 24.
